A Crimea Medal to Private George Haugh of the 33rd Foot (Duke of Wellington`s Regiment), three clasps, Alma, Inkermann, Sebastopol, (G. Haugh. 33rd Regt.), extremely fine Private George Haugh was killed on the 20th of March 1855, aged 22 at Sebastopol, his name is included at the Memorial to the 33rd at the Crimea. Monumental Inscriptions in Buittle Churchyard - Inscription 158 `Erected by Nathan Haugh, in memory of his beloved friends, his father James Haugh, died at Heuchyard, Kelton, 19th Feb`y 1855, aged 89 years. Also his brother George, died in the Crimean War, 20th March 1855, aged 22 years. Also his brother Robert, perished at sea, Sept. 1864, aged 24 years.......`
