An exhibition award winning model of a miniature Drummond round bed lathe, supported on blued steel stand, the flat belt headstock with fitted faceplate, cross-slide with toolpost, tailstock, gears and change wheels, mounted on a mahogany plinth with glazed display cover, overall 12cm x 6cm x 8.5cm. Note: The model is accompanied by a silver medal, awarded to Mr H.A. Rutter by The Model Engineer, cast by Vaughton of Birmingham in 1947. It is therefore believed that the medal relates to the 1948 exhibition.
