Some very minor discolouration to the hour and minute hands and very minor tracing of rusting to the centre sweep.Movement - In working order, but not tested for timekeeping or endurance. Crown engages and disengages positively, and the hands move freely in both directions. Chronograph function fully operational.Case - Some surface scratches as to be expected and commensurate with age and wear. Hinges do not appear strained. Accessories - Enamelling generally in good order with some very minor losses and scratches only visible under magnification. Served in India and was awarded the Indian General Service medal along with the Kings South Africa medal.

Original Ticket for 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics, the ticket is for Track and Field events held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on 2nd August between 10:30-15:00. Area of paper loss to one side. Map of the stadium to the rear of the ticket. On this date was the quarter finals of the men’s 100 meters in which Jesse Owens advanced to the Semi Finals. The American athlete, Owen’s was one of the most famous athletes ever to take part in Olympics, with his gold medal wins being used as a fight against the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler’s Aryan race ideology.

Various award loops to the breast pocket and above the pocket for medal ribbon bar. Tunic has black collar patches with three guls and shoulder boards with black underlay and two brass pips for the rank of Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe Air Ministry (Reichsluftfahrtministerium). Turn back cuffs and pebbled buttons to the front, pockets and shoulders. Silver twist cord to the collar. Fine quality officers lining to the interior and the interior pocket with tailors patch and name label. Generally good example.
