20th century AD. A cylindrical obverse die for a miniature of the George Cross medal, depicting St George slaying the dragon and with 'FOR GALLANTRY' inscription. 630 grams, 50mm (2"). Property of an Essex, UK collector; acquired on the UK art market, 1980-1990. Match worn Shirt FC Metz 1978 - 1979 - Match worn shirt FC Metz 1978/1979 with number '8', worn by Polish international and player-coach Henryk Kasperczak. Flocked "FIAT". Shirt by "Le Coq Sportif". Long sleeved shirt size M, approx., (there's no label). Flocked number, advertising, club and shirt emblem. Shirt bears two stains. Henryck Kasperczak (born in 1946, 73 caps for Poland, 3rd place at the 1974 World Cup, silver medal at the Olympic Games 1976) was appointed coach-player in his first season for Metz when the former coach was diagnosed with cancer. Kasperczak stopped playing for Metz after season 1978/79 and was coach for the team until 1984. During his time a coach, Metz reach the cup final three times. Kasperczak won the cup with other French teams twice.

Written from 1956 to 1958 by legendary Russian coach Viktor Alekseyev (1914-1977). Written in Cyrillic script from 21st August 1956 to 9th January 1958. Sixteen pages. Unique document of a gold medallist which allows insight into the training of Russian athletes during the 1950ies. Museum piece. 100 pages, 29.5x20.5 cm, carton.

Ther were 94 flag carriers at the Games! Size 4.2cm, in original wooden presentation case (some small stains), the medal ia in good condition. Very rare!
Olympic Games Mexico 1968 Silver Winner medal - Official bronze medal which belonged to Eeast Germany gymnast Erika Zuchold. She placed third in the team event at the Olympic Games in Mexico 1968. Bronze, 6 cm, plaque shows the gymnastics symbol, back is engraved "Clasificacion por equipo femenil". Ruby-coloured silk ribbon. Plus Zuchold's original winner diploma for placing third at the Olympics 1968. Parchment, 31x30.5 cm. Plus IOC winner pin for this medal numbered "6724" which was awarded to Erika Zuchod in the 1990ies. Diploma slightly stained. Erika Zuchold, née Barth, (born 19th March 1947 in Lucka, district of Altenburg) is a former East German gymnast. She won four silver medals and one bronze medal for East Germany at Olympic Games. Zuchold became universally known for being the first woman to compete the flick-flack element on balance beam on the 7th June 1964. At the World Championships in 1970 she won gold at Vault and Balance Beam and silver in the Individual All-Round. She was sportswoman of the same year in East Germany. She quit her career after the Olympic Games in 1972. PLEASE NOTE: in case we register a bidding for the complete collection of Erike Zuchold (see lot number 1), this item will be withdrawn and attached to lot number 1.

Olympic Games Berlin 1936 Autograph Gold Medal - Original signatures of gold medallist Hugo Straß (1907-1941) who won the coxless pair at the Olympic Games plus original autograph of Strauß's partner in the coxless pair, Willi Eichhorn (1908-194) on a postcard addressed to the Single sulls winner of 1936, Karl Schäfer. The postcard is dated 24th August 1936 and was written by Willi Eichhorn. A very rare document with the signatures of both gold medallists on one postcard. Plus the signatures of three other Olympic rowers on the postcard. The front side of the postcard was pasted over with paper.

He won the gold medal in the 3 m springboard event. In the plain high diving he competed in the final, but did not finish, so he became eighth. With original signature and addition "Weltmeister 1912). Stamped the 12th August 1936 with special post mark at the Olymic Games 1936. Postcard slightly stained.
