Rialto Bridge, Venice, etching, signed and titled in pencil to lower margin, plate size approx. 365 x 335 mm (14.25 x 13.25 ins), mounted Hedley Fitton was an etcher who specialised in architectural views and street scenes in London, Florence, Venice and elsewhere. He was awarded a gold medal by the Société des Artistes Francais. (1)

(3) (Both lots in Gerrard and Co. cases inscribed Latto 1923. *** Lord Lonsdale's greyhound Latto won the 1923 Waterloo Cup for hare coursing. As a gesture of gratitude to his trainer Dick Steel, the medal was commissioned and given to Mrs. Steel (information from vendor)
