A First World War Gallantry Group, to 275161 SJT .A.S. FLEETWOOD. 7/MANCH.R., comprising Distinguished Conduct Medal, 1914-15 Star, BWM, Victory Medal and Territorial Efficiency Medal (Star, BWM & Victory Medal named to 1243 Sjt.A.Fleetwood. Manch..R.), all mounted with a photograph and copy of London Gazette 3.10.1918 in a glazed display; together with photographs, The Manchester Regimental Gazette 1932, newspaper cuttings etc.. **Arthur Stanley Fleetwood was called up with the Territorials at the outbreak of the war. He was posted to Egypt, but was invalided home the following year due to an attack of dysentery and septic poisoning, on his recovery he was posted to France.

OSCAR FLORIANUS BLUENNER (American 1867-1938), Modernist townscape, signed lower right, crayon, watercolour and wash, 7" x 9" (see illustration). Note: Born in Prussia, Bluenner won the Royal Medal of Architecture at the Berlin Royal Technical Academy in 1891 before fleeing to the U.S. the following year. He notably designed the Bronx County Court House and became an active member of the modern art movement forming around Alfred Steiglitz's '291' Gallery.
