Hanoverian Guelphic Medal for Bravery 1815, engraved 'Tromp. H. Haarstrick Vorm. 1 Drag. KDL.'. Vendor states: Haarstrick showed much bravery at Garcia hernandex that General Bock hailed him with "Bravo". Haarstrick defended a wounded Aide de Camp of Wellington against several French soldiers. At Waterloo his officer lost sword, so Haarstrick gave him his own and fought on with a pistol. This medal is a post 1855 late issue. EF with tiny edge bump.
