Militaria : Medal BWM & Victory plus Memorial Plaque M2-188002 Pte A . Dollimore ASC, Albert Dollimore died just after returning from the Great War in 1918. He was not commemorated by the CWGC for 100 years but has now been added. Born Berkhamstead, Herts and died at the home of his sister Ada 18th November 1918 of an earlier global pandemic, he is buried Berkhamstead, Herts. - GVF

Militaria : Medal section a HUGE family archive of photographs and ephemera inc a rare selection to one of the earliest Submarine Casualties of WW1 who previously had been wounded in the loss of Submarine A1 the first Sub loss the RN had with fatal casualties. First Class Petty Officer Frederick Drury Blunsdon was lost on Submarine D5 , probably to a Mine , 8th November 1914, with a huge amount of interesting early Naval and Submarine ephemera inc copy of letter from King George V regarding the loss of Submarine A1 and the casualties suffered. Scarce Memorial Scroll all contained in original family suitcase.

Fowler Lodge, September 26th 1927, a silver medal presented by Mr Fosset to TF Harries for courage in entering a lion's den at Merthyr, December 10th 1891 and a Robert Burns Centenary medal 1796 - 1896.
George V British Empire Meritorious Medal for Morris Edward Colbeck, two World War I miniature medal groups for Private H Sheldon, 198584, and Lance Corporal EW Abbot, 2298, together with a photograph, also a Division Expeditionary Force recognition card for 56th (London) Division signed by Major General Sir Charles Patrick Amyatt Hull.
World War II Distinguished Flying medal group and ephemera for George Bell Halbert DFM comprising of Distinguished Flying medal, Air Crew Europe star with France and Germany bar, 1939-45 star, Italian star, 1939-45 Defence medal, 1939-45 war medal, together with a 9ct gold Paramount non-magnetic 15 jewels wristwatch, inscribed 'Presented to George Halbert by his fellow members at Newbie in recognition of his winning the DFM during the 1939-1945 war'. Halbert flew fifty-six operational sorties as an air gunner. He started as an observer then qualified as a gunner. First flying on Halifax bombers, followed by a spell as an instructor at No. 20 Squadron Officer Training, Lossiemouth. He then transferred to the Pathfinder Force flying Lancasters with No. 35 Squadron from Gravely, Huntingdon, in 1944 and became a Warrant Officer.
AN ARCHIVE OF MINIATURE MEDALS AND ORIGINAL PAPERWORK ATTRIBUTED TO A SOLDIER IN THE 'QUEENS' ROYAL WEST SURREY REGIMENT, the miniature group consists of the Queens South Africa Medal (five bars) Laings Nek, Transvaal, Relief of Ladysmith, Orange Free State, Tugela heights, Kings South Africa, (01 & 02 Bars) 1914 with Bar Star Trio, all period and mounted on a wearing bar, housed in a Churchmans Number 1 Virginia metal tin, the original paperwork relates to a Harry Percy FOSTER, a soldier in the Royal West Surrey Regiment who served in France from 12th August 1914 through to at least 1916, his army book relates to him being wounded on three occasions in 1914 (18th September), 1915 (25th September) LOOS?, 1916 (20th July) SOMME, he was also promoted several times in the field, 6.3.1915 & 17.3.1916 2nd Lieut/Lieut, and T/Captain from 12.6.1916, his army book also mentions being mentioned to the Secretary of State for War for his service during WWI, also present is his Original Warrant for promotion to WO Class II, dated 1918, also a Army Furlough Certificate for Foster dated 1897, stating service of six plus years, Foster was born in 1878 so therefore was old enough to serve in both the Boer War and WWI, the medals are believed to be Fosters, also present is a Regimental journal for the Royal West Surrey Regiment for 1947, and a large hardbound volume titled 'The Whole Duty of Man' dated inside the cover July 1842
