WW2 multisigned cover. Knights Cross of the Iron Cross signed by Erwin Fischer, Willhelm Johnen, Bernhard Jope, Friedrich Kless, Friedrich Lang, Gerhard Schopfel and Gunther Seeger. From set called DM Medal series of nineteen flown covers illustrates the principal honours, decorations and campaign medals which have been awarded to members of the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Air Force and Royal Air Force Regiment, the Royal Naval Air Service and the Fleet Air Arm. Each cover which measures a large 32cm x 23cm carries the signatures of seven airmen, whose gallantry or leadership in the service of their country, has been recognised by the award shown. WW2 German KIA Luftwaffe collection. Fine set of 16 documents and two decorations for Wachtmeister Helmut Benecker, of 2 Fernaufklarungsgeschwader 101. He joined Luftwaffe in 1937 and serve with flak units until 1942 March, when he entered pilot training. Decorated with EK1 and 2, Frontfluspange bronze and silver. He was killed in a flying accident in August 1944. Documents includes, His Wehrpass with lots of entries for flying kit etc, Arbeitsbuch, Ahnenpass, EK1 and 2 citations. Award document for Tatigkeitsabzeichen der Flakartillerie, Award document for Flugzeugffuhrerabzeichen, Reischsportabzeichen award document, super studio photo of Benecke and several other documents relating to his academic and civilian life. Original Flugzeugffuhrerabzeichen silver medal, rare item and a cloth version of the pilots badge unworn, grey oilcloth backing. All original items scarce collection. Good condition Est.

An original WWI First World War Memorial Plaque / Death Penny medal named to a ' William Frankham ', of Bristol - one time Bristol Rovers Football player / footballer. Supplied within its original card envelope, and accompanied by a photograph of Frankham in uniform. Accompanying the plaque is a post-WWI newspaper cutting, the first paragraph of which details 'the late W. Frankham who later played for Bristol East & Bristol Rovers...'. A rare and important part of WWI First World War Bristol related footballing history.
A Third Reich Luftwaffe 16mm training film, the aluminium reel impressed with Luftwaffe eagle, in its tin, the lid with embossed Luftwaffe eagle, the lower part with incomplete printed paper label marked “Rolle: 3-3”, “Lange: 103m”, “Grundsatze fur Flugschuler” (Principles for Flying Pupils), and “A. Behandlang des Flugzeuges” (Treatment or working of Aircraft), the inside with label showing that it was last issued in February 1943; a Naval Soldbuch with numerous entries from 1942-45 (worn); a civilian gas mask, the aluminium filter having Waffenamt mark etc; and an Eastern Front medal with ribbon.
