A GERMAN 3RD REIGH TWENTY FIVE YEAR S.S. LONG SERVICE MEDAL, BOXED, the medal features the Swastika with S Runes in centre surrounded by applied wreath, all gold coloured, the blue ribbon has the SS Runes in bullion thread, and an oval suspender ring, the medal fits perfectly in the box recess, but the box is left to right opening and not bottom to top, no SS Runes are present on the lid
WW2 German Third Reich Award Citation Pair, consisting of award certificate for the Hindenburg Cross and German Armed Forces 25 year long service decoration. Both awarded to Otto Hildebrand, the long service medal citation states he was serving with Pioneer Battalion 46. Both remain in good condition. (2 items)
WW2 German Award Citation Group of Three, consisting of War Service Cross 2nd class with swords awarded to Obergefreiten Franz Ecker 1./Gren Rgt 130 on 20th April 1943, Eastern Front medal (Ostmedaille) awarded 20. August 1942 and Wound Badge in black awarded 29 Juni 1942. Each citation with ink signature of regimental official. All generally good condition, some with pencil written research to the reverse.
Attributed Officers Victorian Ashantee Miniature Campaign Medal, with single clasp Coomassie, named around the rim “Capt Cole - - - - 1: W I”. Remains in good overall condition. Lieutenant, later Captain William Cole served with the 1st Battalion West India regiment during the third Ashanti (Ashantee) War.
British WW2 Campaign Medal Group of Four, consisting of 1939-45 star, Africa Star with 8th army medal ribbon emblem, Defence medal and 1939-45 War medal. Housed in the bottom section of forwarding box and with forwarding slip. Accompanied by a written slip stating the medals were awarded to 1587228 Thomas Munsie Royal Artillery.
