Exhibited: Unknown Exhibition, 1941 (according to an old label to the reverse) Other Notes: This painting was awarded "De László Bronze Medal" in 1941. This prize was first instituted by Philip de László in 1930 while he held the post of the President of the Royal Society of British Artists. The awards lapsed for a few years before they were revived by De László's grandson ten years later. Unframed and a little dirty.
