Royal Air Force ephemera, belonging to George Bell, 1473793 RAF, to include: pilot's flying log book dated March 29th 1943 - July 2nd 1943; flight log book, dated 31st October 1943 - 21st February 1944; air crew lecture notes; observers and gunners flying book dated 29th October 1943 - 27th March 1946; a service release book, stamps dated August 1946; identity card; his diaries dated 1943 and 1944, the aforementioned mainly based in Southern Rhodesia; a large quantity of military issue maps of: Alexandria, Sarajevo, Udine Bolzano, Venezia, Mombasa, The Mediterranean, Ravenna, Kenya and South Rhodesia; some of his general service medals, including: War Star, Italy Star, Defence and War Medal; his dog tags; many photographs of aircraft in flight and on ground as well as members of his squadron; and a large quantity of other ephemera.

Symelman & Co., 56 York Rd N Maker The bars inscribed Court Queen Victoria and No. 5162 L.U.D., verso inscribed Presented Bro. Horace John Avery by the Members of Court Queen Victoria No. 5162, for services rendered in the chair during 1905. 16 cm long overall. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, could do with a clean, approximately 87 grammes all in.

This lot is accompanied by a copy of the certificate.
