CHARITY SHIELD MEDAL 1922 - LIVERPOOL Medal inscribed to "E.Longworth" Charity Shield medal , inscribed Football Association Charity Shield on the front together with the three Lions crest. Reverse is inscribed E.Longworth. Longworth played for Liverpool and they lost the 1922 Charity Shield to Huddersfield at Chelsea. Good

Date not known but Liverpool player Longworth made five appearances for England between 1920 and 1923 becoming the first Liverpool player to captain England. Inscribed E.Longworth on reverse. Good
E.LONGWORTH -1908-09 LEYTON Gold hall-marked medal, London FA Challenge Cup, inscribed on back "E.Longworth Leyton FC 1908-09". Millwall defeated Leyton 2-0 in the Final. Longworth was transferred to Liverpool shortly afterwards and played five times for England. Medal is gold, hall-marked and appears to have been made by Vaughtons. Good

GLASGOW RANGERS MEDAL 1923 Scottish League Championship gold hall-marked medal awarded to W.Robb. Glasgow Rangers won the Scottish League Championship in 1922-23 being five points clear of runners up Airdrieonians. William Robb was goalkeeper for Rangers between 1920 and 1926 playing in a remarkable 241 consecutive games for Rangers between 1920 and 1925. Robb was capped twice for Scotland and also played for the Scottish League. In 1926 Robb left Rangers to join Hibs and gained the second of his Caps with Hibs before joining Aldershot and helping them into the Football League in 1932. The gold medal is inscribed "Scottish League Championship 1922-23" on the front and is inscribed "W.Robb" in the centre on the reverse and "won by Glasgow Rangers Football Club " around the outside edge. Made by Vaughtons. Good

SURREY SENIOR CUP 1896-REIGATE PRIORY Two Surrey County FA medals, both 1896-1897 season winners medal, Surrey FA Senior Cup and Surrey FA Senior Charity Shield. Reigate Priory defeated Weybridge 3-2 at Guildford to win the Senior Cup, 4000 attending. This was their sixth and final triumph in the competition which started in 1882. Both medals are silver hall-marked with enamel and were made by Mappin Bros. Generally good
RIFLE SHOOTING - VARSITY Oxford v Cambridge Chancellors Plate medal with ribbon in Lamberts Silversmiths case. Year not known but the Chancellors Plate was established in 1862 and has been held thereafter for competition between Oxford and Cambridge. It has the apprearance of being vintage although the case notes "Silversmiths and Jewellers to The Queen which presumably refers to our current Monarch. Generally good
