British Commemorative Medallion, silver proof d.38mm: The Royal Maundy at Birmingham Cathedral March 23rd 1989, cased with cert, one of only 50 produced; the medal aFDC but the case somewhat perished; this number 46 was originally presented to John Taylor, Bishop of St Albans, theologian, and Lord High Almoner 1988-1997.
Keele Hall 1901-1910 silver medal d.34mm 'From Grand Duke Michael and Countess Torby'. Linked to the Russian Imperial Family he became Lord High Steward for the Borough of Newcastle under Lyme. The Keele Hall medals are believed to have been given as presentation pieces for honoured friends and guests. nEF, small edge nick, rare with possible original box damaged.

A Victorian 1842 General Service medal (GSM) covering the Napoleonic era with St. Sebastian, Vittoria and Corunna clasps to Thos. Ash 59th FOOT. Part of the second battalion, the regiment sailed for Spain in 1808 with Thomas Ash later involved in the Battle of Corunna in 1809, Battle of Vittonia in 1813 and siege of San Sebastian. Thomas Ash returned to England in 1816 after Waterloo and ended muster on 24 March 1816
