Williams North Staffordshire Regiment, later re-numbered 17148, Charles Williams was killed on 30th July 1917 when he is listed as died of wounds, the day before the 1st day of the battle of Paschaendale, Belgium, he had previously served in the Balkans with Williams Service record
A large quantity of interesting ephemera and other items, relating to retired Police Officer Brian Duckett, covering his time at Training College in the North West to becoming Detective Chief Inspector for the British Transport Police. This lot includes a large quantity of photographs, his police note book, together with a Long Service and Good Conduct medal as well as a pair of handcuffs and a wooden truncheon. Condition Report: No Warrant Card. Police notebook is included. Items are directly from the estate of Mr Brian Duckett, who has recently passed away.
