Copy Certificate of Service states Robert Arthur Wailes enlisted South Shields in 1953, supporting copy documents state that he served in the 2nd Bttn & is seen carrying the light machine gun & that he has completed 80 parachute descents. The copy paper article says he has been in Egypt, Sudan, Cyprus, Kuwait, Libya, Persian Gulf & Kenya & climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. He left the services in March 1979. The lot includes boxed Pingat Jasa Medal & some Para Rgt cloth badges plus Kings Crown metal badge, court style mounted, GVF.
