SUBSEQUENTLY IN THE GREAT WAR HE WAS MENTIONED IN DESPATCHES (L.G.-1.1 16), ACCORDING TO A NEWS CUTTING WAS THREE TIMES WOUNDED AND WAS TAKEN PRISONER IN MARCH 1918 BEING RELEASED AT THE END OF HOSTILITIES
