Kendall, Royal Fusiliers; a WWII Africa Star (no ribbon); a WWI Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve medal, ribbon with brooch fitting; a silver War badge awarded for honourable discharge in WWI due to wounds or sickness; an unofficial 1953 Coronation medal with blue ribbon; a bi-metal K/C Royal Corps of Signals cap badge (lacks fitting at back); a General service cap badge and 9 G/S buttons in two sizes; one cloth and eight metal rank pips and a shield-shaped pendant medallion engraved with lyre and Greek inscription. A 19th century Manchester School of Medicine & Surgery silver presentation medallion, J. E. Terry & Co, London, 1829, 'This medal is awarded by Mr Turner to Mr John Pearson in testimony of his having distinguished himself as an anatomical student of the first class' session of 1827 & 1828, in original Morocco leather case, 6cm. Sold with a watercolour on ivory miniature portrait of John Pearson attributed to Tom Faed verso, 11cm x 9cm overall. Thomas Turner was an English surgeon who established a medical school in Manchester.
