A George Medal, awarded to (2609080 Corporal) PERCIVAL TYRRELL HAGUE, of the Home Guard, formerly of the Grenadier Guards, loosely mounted in a glazed display frame, with original box of issue, together with framed citation dated 8th October 1941, a photograph, his Soldier's Service and Pay Book, newspaper articles, letters and related ephemera Footnote:- Corporal Hague was awarded the George Medal for remarkable gallantry shown during an Air Raid over Nottingham Corporation Gas Works. After a shower of incendiaries had fallen on top of a 90ft gasholder he noticed that three of them had got lodged, so he climbed up and knocked them off. Soon afterwards, when he and a colleague were trying to close down valves, a high-explosive hit a nearby gas holder which burst into flames. Despite their clothes being on fire, they continued with their work and managed to save the chief parts of the plant.

An Egypt Medal 1882-89, with clasp TEL-EL-KEBIR, awarded to 2633, PTE.H.MALLOY, 2/HIGH.L.I., together with a photocopy of Chapter XXXI - The Battle of Tel-el-Kebir from Proud Heritage Volume II, which documents the involvement of the 72 Highlanders in the battle.

A First World War ''Bushire Force'' MC Group of Four Medals, awarded to 83457 Captain Charles Lindsay Wallace, Intelligence Officer, I.A.R.O., G.S.O.III.(India), comprising Military Cross, British War Medal, Defence Medal (MID), and General Service Medal 1918-62 with clasp S.PERSIA, the last three named CAPT.C.L.WALLACE., with research material. Footnote:- Charles Lindsay Wallace was born in South Africa November 22nd 1887. He was educated at Merchant Taylors' School, London and Brasenose College, Oxford. He was awarded the Military Cross ''for gallantry and determined devotion to duty on the night of October 27th/28th when he executed a daring reconnaissance of the route from Borasjien to Lardeh? Valley, and on October 31st, the column to which he was attached being surrounded and unable to withdraw, he carried information of the fact to the main body, having to traverse many miles of difficult country and at the outset to cross open ground swept by enemy's close range fire.''

Skinner was later promoted Sub-Conductor. He went on to serve in Somaliland in East Africa 1902-1904 and was mentioned in despatches, see The London Gazette, 2nd September 1904. He was promoted to Assistant Commissary
