Raynsford, 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards, engraved to edge, a circular silver medal, the obverse depicting the head of Queen Victoria facing left with the legend VICTORIA REGINA, the reverse depicting a Roman soldier receiving a laurel wreath from the flying figure of Victory, the word CRIMEA appearing on the left. A few light surface scratches, and with a clipped ribbon, otherwise G  The Crimea Medal, issued to officers and men of British units (land and naval) which fought in the Crimean War of 1854-56 against Russia.

George VI Military Interest D.S.M Distinguished Service Medal Awarded To Crew Member Of H.M.S Laforey (G 99) In original fitted leather case, awarded to 1st Class Stoker Robert Thomas (R.T) Griffiths for bravery and resourcefulness on active service at sea. HMS Laforey was hit and sunk by a U-boat on 30th March 1944, of the 250 crew members,182 lost their lives. An annual memorial parade is held each year in Northampton. HMS Laforey (G 99) earned the following battle honours: Malta Convoys 1941-42, Diego Suarez 1942, Atlantic 1942, Sicily 1943, Salerno 1943, Mediterranean 1943-44, Anzio 1944. Very good/EF condition
