dating: early 20th Century provenance: State of the Vatican City, A set that constitutes a full uniform of the NCO of the Pontifical horseback Gendarmery, including: dress coat with blue tails, amaranth-profiled with silver grenades at the flaps, big, white buttons, frogs at the neck and cuffs, silver, considerable stripes; long pants for foot service, sugar-paper color with dark-blue bands; silver-fringed epaulettes for NCO, with white body; silver braids in black segments for NCO, with tips; white bandoleer with big cartridge box featuring a big, brass grenade on the cover; budrière with pendants for saber (not included) with nice and eye-catching brass cast, engraved plate, with Pontifical Gendarmery inscription; a bi-corn hat, with loop and grenade in German silver with the golden-silver cockade, hemispherical tassels, silver at the ends, white stripes, amaranth plumage. Silver medal for merit. Complete with fine exhibition mannequin. height as shown circa 200 cm.
dating: early 20th Century provenance: State of the Vatican City, Daily uniform, composed of beret, jacket and pants of the 16th-century, Katzbalger style, of crimson, black and scarlet color recurring from the early days of the foundation of the prestigious Corps. Crimson color socks. Spanish style collar. Black, leather belt, rimmed in red, complete with pocket for a bayonet. Years of pontificate of Pius X (1903-1914). Together with a metallic morion, of modern production, dyed in black. One silver medal for merits, by Leo XIII, and one, silver Cross for the pilgrims of Jerusalem, by Pope Leo XIII. Complete with exhibition mannequin and NCO staff with ivory pommel. height 190 cm.Notes: Especially worth noting is the realization of the beautiful face of the mannequin of this NCO. The mannequin itself has undergone a careful processing. Impressive body size.
dating: mid-20th Century provenance: USA, Metal medal, gilded and enameled, marked 'FOR MILITARY MERIT' on the back, serial number '255xxx' on the border. Complete with bi-color ribbon with horizontal brooch. Complete with ribbon bar and mignon. In its case, covered with blue Morocco leather, adorned with gilded imprints and 'PURPLE HEART' on the cover. height medal 46 mm.

A portray of a newborn on the back 'NAPOLEON FRANCOIS JOSEPH CHARLES ROI DE ROME' in relief; at the bottom the signature of the engraver 'ANDRIEU F.' and the date 'XX MARS MDCCCXI'. A profiled portray of parents on the front: Napoleon Bonaparte and Maria Luisa of Habsburg-Lorraine. Signature of the engraver and 'DENON D.' diameter 41 mm.
