WW II medal group for Warrant Officer G Wood rear gunner on a Stirling LJ-883 shot down on a mission to Arnhem Sept 23rd 1944. George was the only survivor returned to England with important info for the RAF. With lots of associated ephemera i.e. Log Book' service record, letters, photos of himself and his colleagues and including his hand written account of the mission and his escape back to England and a ring given him by the Dutch resistance.

A gilt metal medal for Pope Alexander VIII (served 1689-1691) with St Peter and Paul above Roma to reverse, the obverse marked for medallist Travanus, with later gilt metal mount, diameter 4.3cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some knocks to the edges, some rubbing to the reeded edge, the reeding thin to the reverse lower rim, some rubbing to the surface and further surface scratches but detail remains clear.
MOORCROFT; a boxed medal of honour 'Ashford' pattern tube lined decorated vase, signed in underglaze to base by designer Emma Bossons and a further printed HM25 and factory marks to base and date cipher for 2011, height 18cm. CONDITION REPORT: Appears good with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration, manufacturing imperfections with two underglaze marks/scratches to body beneath rim, some firing faults to the tube lining, areas of uneven glazing including a 4mm unglazed line in one of the flower petals to the upper section, some marks beneath the glaze, etc.
