Four:1939-45 star, Atlantic star, Africa star, War Medal. NEF, with condolence slip named to Henry George Lucas, in original carton. Note: Leading Stoker Henry George Lucas died on service 2.11.1941, his name on Portsmouth Naval Memorial. He served aboard HM Submarine HMS Tetrarch. On 26th October 1941 the Tetrarch left Malta to make passage for the USA for a refit. She was due to arrive at Gibraltar on 2nd November but when she did not appear it was presumed she had been lost to Italian mines off Sicily. There were no survivors from the 62 on board.

A collection of Imperial German insignia, comprising shoulder straps of medical officer, and 2 others, Iron Cross 2nd Class, OR’s shoulder straps of 12th, 14th, 23rd, 28th, 54th, 61st, 67th, 75th (pair), 107th and 157th Regiments, Bavarian medal bearing date 1866 and 3 cockades, all mounted in a polished and decorated frame 24” x 20th.
