A First World War Gallantry, awarded to 306015 CPL F.BAXTER. 02-Jul W.RID.R., comprising Military Medal, British War Medal and Victory Medal, together with a biography and photocopy of the supplement to the London Gazette 13 September 1918 **Fred Baxter came from Linthwaite, Huddersfield and was married with two children. He was killed in action on 11th October 1918 after having been recently promoted to Lance Sergeant. His officer described him as a fearless fighter.
A First World War Trio, awarded to 773 PTE.W.C.STOWELL. R.A.M.C., comprising 1914-15 Star, British War Medal (with silver wound badge), and Victory Medal; together with a pair of RAMC City of London brass shoulder titles, RAMC cap badge, and three Boy's Brigade badges with three clasps for 1908, 1910, 1911 **Pte Stowell was wounded in the arm and leg. He retired to Addingham, Near Ilkley, West Yorkshire where he died at the age of 89 years.

WINNER OF THE FIELD 20 GUINEA PRIZE FOR CHOKE BORES LONDON.', 2 5/8in. chambers, bored approx. extra full choke and true cyl, slender treble-grip action with carved fences, slender toplever, rebounding sidelocks with carved c-scroll hammers, fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 1/2in. well-figured stock including buttplate (possible repair at hand), diminutive 5 1/2in. fore-end with grip fastener, weight 6lb. 11oz.
