A First World War Princess Mary Christmas Gift Fund tin 1914. Containing original bullet case pencil. Along with Albion mix tobacco, War Office medal award postcard and a monochrome photograph of a soldier. Very light dents, minor scratches and wear to the tin. Tobacco opened and cling filmed but packaging in overall good condition. Pencil good and with lead. The ephemera pieces in reasonable condition.

WW2 1940 8th (Irish) Battalion Kings Liverpool Regiment Casualty Medal Group, consisting of un-named 1939-45 War medal and 1939-45 Defence medal. Housed in the original OHMS forwarding box addressed to his father in Liverpool and complete with the forwarding army council casualty slip having name “Piper P.M. Coulter”. Piper Peter Michael Coulter died of wounds received through enemy action on 24th August 1940. He was buried in Liverpool (Ford) Roman Catholic Cemetery. The details of his death appeared in two Liverpool newspapers.
