Plate 2 Note: London Gazette 2nd March 1920 “... in recognition of gallantry on the occasion of an attack on a military railway train near Spintangi on 27th February, 1918 during the Marri Operations”. Spintangi is a town approx 70 miles SE of Quetta (now Pakistan). It is believed the Marri operations were conducted with the support of Police Forces.
