Victorian Egypt & Sudan Campaign Medal Pair Royal Navy, consisting of no bar Egypt medal with 1882 dated reverse, “G F GREAVES ENGR RN HMS EUPHRATES”, and 1882 Khedives Star medal un-named as issued. Medals remain in good condition. George Frederick Greaves was born in Manchester, 1841 and died in Ainsdale, Lancashire 1866. He enlisted in 1861 as Assistant Engineer 2nd class, 1st class 1864, Engineer 1868. Served on various ships during his 24 years and 99 days service, including HMS Immortalite, HMS Asia, HMS Euphrates and HMS Lord Warden. HMS Euphrates was an iron screw ship of 6,211 tons which transported the 2nd Battalion Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry and the 3rd Battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps to Egypt.

Medals are mounted for wear.
WW2 German Infantry Officers Combat Tunic, fine quality private purchase four pocket combat tunic with dark green collar retaining infantry collar litzen, silver wire breast eagle and officers shoulder boards with white underlay. Tunic has three piece medal bar above the breast pocket and award loop to the pocket. Fine quality lining to the interior. Inside pocket has Paris tailors label with inked name and date 1940. Breast eagle probably replaced but otherwise a very nice example.

WW2 German Panzer Officers Combat Tunic, being the lightweight issue type as worn in the early battle of France campaign and in South Russia. Four pocket example with award loops to breast pocket and three piece medal bar above. Black backed officers bullion breast eagle, pink underlay officers shoulder boards and Panzer officers collar patches. Officers dress aiguillettes with black fleck. Interior with quilted lining and straps for attachment of German dagger. Overall a very good condition example showing just light service wear.
British Gloucestershire Police Medal Trio to a Female Sergeant, consisting of 1939-45 Defence medal, 1953 Elizabeth II Coronation medal and George VI For Exemplary Police Service medal “SERGT ELIZABETH M MILLICHIP”. Medals mounted for wear. Elizabeth Marjorie Millichip Joined the Gloucestershire Police on 30th January 1930, she was promoted to Sergeant on 14th October 1950 and retired 31st August 1958.

New Zealand Elizabeth II Regular Army Long Service Good Conduct Medal Royal New Zealand Corps of Transport, 2nd issue example with New Zealand bar, awarded to “40238 WO1 C J BREWER RNZCT”. Remains in good condition. Charles John Brewer, who was born in May 1946, died at Burnham Military Camp in February 1984. Ex DNW, Lot 910 24th February 2016.
Victorian Egypt & Sudan Campaign Medal Pair Royal Navy, consisting of undated reverse Egypt medal with single bar Suakin 1885, impressed naming “W Mc AVOY CHF ENGR RN HMS TYNE”, and 1884-86 Khedives star, un-named as issued. Medals remain in good condition. William R McAvoy was born in August 1842. He enlisted in the Royal Navy in 1861 as Assistant Engineer. He rose through the various ranks and retired with the rank of Inspector of Machinery in 1897. He served on various ships during his service, including HMS Scrapis, HMS Pembroke, HMS Raleigh, HMS Hercules, HMS Asia, HMS Rupert, HMS Tyne, plus others. During the Egypt campaign, she landed part of her crew as part of the Naval Brigade to defend the port of Suakin in the Red Sea.

Conn', maker JWB, in nine carat gold Note: Alfie Conn jr. signed for Motherwell in 1981, Conn would go on to make 27 appearances for the club, helping them win promotion to the Premier Division in the 1981-82 season.
