Victoria Coronation 1838 silver medal by B Pistrucci, diam. 36mm, with red leather case. Provenance - by family descent, reputedly a gift from Queen Victoria to a staff member, possibly William Saunders, see The Royal Kalendar and Court and City Register England, Scotland, Ireland and the Colonies for the Year 1844, page 147, listed as ‘housekeeper of the state apartments, St James’s, under Queen’s Household, Gentlemen of the Privy Chamber.
