1908 London Olympic Games bronze donar participation medal by Vaughton & Sons (Birmingham) and designed by Bertram Mackennal^ with'In commemoration of the Olympic games held in London 1908' depicting a winged figure to the front and Quadriga to the rear^ c/w original box. Note: the 1908 Olympics were held in London^ however were originally scheduled in Rome^ but were relocated based on financial grounds. Lasting 187 days these were the longest lasting games in modern Olympic history.
