A WWI Casualty group awarded to 24457 Lance Corporal E Arnold of the Cheshire Regiment, comprising 1914-15 star, Great War medal, Great War for Civilisation medal and Edwin Arnold`s death plaque. Lance Corporal Arnold was killed on the 13th May 1916 and his memorial is at Kirkee 1914-18 Memorial face C. The Kirkee Memorial commemorated more than 1800 servicemen who died in India during WWI and who are buried in Civil Canton cemeteries in India and Pakistan. This lot is accompanied by some research (Illustrated).
