A World War II German silvery metal 25-Year Faithful Service Medal with original ribbon and box, awarded to "Karl Eigner" with an official certificate dated 6th July 1939 and signed by Otto Meissner, and one other dated 6th November 1939 Note : Otto Meissner (1880-1953) in 1920 held the position of Ministerial Director and Head of the Bureau of the President and when Hitler amalgamated the functions of Head of State and the Head of Government in 1934, Meissner's office was renamed the "Presidential Chancellery". In 1937 he was appointed to the position of State Minister of the rank of a Federal Minister and "Chief of the Presidential Chancellery of the Fuehrer and Chancellor". He signed the certificate of 6th July in that capacity.
