1920 Newbattle Golf Club 9ct gold medal – the obverse finely engraved with Vic golfer on the links and on the reverse engraved "Presented to A Henderson by Leith members of Newbattle Golf Club on the occasion of of his leaving Leith 15th May 1920 –" – wt 8.5 grms. Note: Newbattle Golf Club Dalkeith was formed in 1896
1920 Edinburgh Burgess Golfing Society Captain`s medal – yellow metal embossed on the obverse with the clubs crest and details to the border and on the reverse engraved The Hon`ble Lord Anderson -Captain 1920-21" – c/w a case - wt 10.7 grms. Note: Andrew Macbeth Anderson (1862- 1936) was a keen sportsman. In addition to the usual gentleman`s pastimes of the day such as fishing and golf, he also enjoyed curling and had been a useful footballer in his youth playing both for Edinburgh University and for the well-known amateur side Queen`s Park - he was a Scottish barrister, judge and Liberal Party politician. At the time of his death he was the senior Scottish judge and held the judicial title of the Honourable Lord Anderson and lived in Edinburgh.

Fine and large Great Yarmouth Golf Club "The Blackheath Medal" – white metal medal heavily embossed with the crests of both clubs – presented by Royal Blackheath in 1893 c/w with swivel bar – overall 2.25" dia – wt 2.65oz. Note: The Great Yarmouth Golf Club was founded in 1882 - the Club arranged matches with Royal Blackheath, Felixstowe and Cambridge University.. The Club was fortunate, in the early years, in being adopted by the members of Royal Blackheath who provided Captains, Officers, members and Trophies. The Club still plays the Blackheath Medal (a scratch competition) and Royal Blackheath in turn play for the Great Yarmouth Cup, donated by the members of Great Yarmouth in 1900 in recognition of all Royal Blackheath had done to assist them in establishing the game at Yarmouth.

1957 FA Cup Final Linesman 9ct Gold Football Association and Silver Referee`s Association Medal: Played at Wembley Aston Villa v Manchester United (Busby Babes) Both Medals named to K G Aston Linesman (9ct Medal 11g) (2) Note: The 1957 FA Cup Final was a football match played on 4 May 1957 at Wembley Stadium. The match was contested by Aston Villa and Manchester United. Villa won 2–1, with both of their goals scored by Peter McParland. Tommy Taylor got United`s goal. The final was marred by a collision after only six minutes between Villa forward Peter McParland and United goalkeeper Ray Wood, which left Wood unconscious with a broken cheekbone. Wood left the pitch and Jackie Blanchflower took over in goal for United. Wood eventually rejoined the game in an outfield position as a virtual passenger before returning to goal for the last seven minutes of the game. It was Villa`s first major trophy for 37 years.
