A mid 20th century cabinet, in the manner of Heals, together with an Edwardian jardiniere stand, 97cm high (2)Overall condition of the cabinet is very marked, which looks like water damage. The cabinet is hardwood, so it has not actually caused structural damage. Inside measures 71w x 44d x 53h cm

A George II Mahogany Secretaire Cabinet, circa 1760, the dentil cornice above later mirrored doors enclosing a mahogany-lined interior with four adjustable shelves, the base with a fall front secretaire drawer enclosing a fitted interior of pigeon holes and small drawers around a central mirrored cupboard door, two short over long oak-lined drawers below, all between fluted stiles 107cm by 54cm by 196.5cmProvenance: John Bly, St James, London, with copy invoice dated 1st February 1994 Mirror plates later. End panels with natural gaps/split. Some variations in colour and fading. Excellent quality timber with original brasses. Some minor bruises/losses around drawer fronts. Otherwise in good original condition.
