The table top is hinged and opens to reveal a leather writing surface with pull out action to provide a ratchet adjusted slope behind which is a fitted pen and ink compartment and a sprung action rising flight of four pigeon holes and seven short drawers, this flanked by the hinged side flaps which form folio compartments with hinged covers. There is a further long drawer over a tambour fronted kneehole cupboard, the cabinet is supported on ring turned slightly tapering legs with castors, it has lion mask ring pull handles and side carrying handles, 26" wide when closed, 52" wide open, 35" high when closed.
