Labels are very worn and illegible, although there are some pencilled inscriptions to the underside of the drawers and to the drawer rails to carcass which appear to correspond to the remaining visible letters on the labels - eg needles, hooks & eyes, crochet reels, etc. Cabinet overall with various scratches, chips, stains, etc and quite a lot of dirt, wear and stains to interior.

A 19th century Dutch walnut cabinet, the domed top with moulded cornice above a single glazed and barred door enclosing painted interior with three shelves (formerly upper section of a larger piece) CONDITION REPORTS Back boards are split and coming apart. There have been some repairs to the moulding on the top edge of the cabinet and patching. The door has a split in the curved frame on the left-hand side, joints are starting to come apart although structurally sound. The lock area has been patched on the frame. There are splits where the wood has been pinned together, nail heads and marks are visible. On the left-hand side there is a nail protruding through from the inside out. Has general wear, knocks, splits, etc. through out conducive with age and use (see photos for more detail). Brass hinges appear to be replacements, and the top right hand side glass pane has a crack in it.
