A Victorian Gothic revival four door wardrobe, with arched Gothic detail, inverted break-front cornice, width 268 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall this measures 203cm high, 73cm deep and 268cm wide. There are typical scuffs and scratches to the veneer, as well as some minor losses to the veneer. Overall this is in good condition. The cornice lifts off, as does the base. The body divides into a central two-door cabinet which is 122cm wide, as well as two separate sentry box cabinets on either side which each measure 61cm wide.
An 18th century Dutch marquetry display cabinet on bombe three drawer chest base, standing on bun feet, height 235 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This measures 176cm wide, 45cm deep and 235cm high. Good colour throughout. Typical historic scratches, nicks and minor veneer replacements. Pediment associated. Front left foot with some signs of historic woodworm. Interior with probably the original velvet lining, with typical wear and tear to be expected. Front edge of shelves with later gilding. See additional images.
A VICTORIAN MAHOGANY APOTHECARY CABINET having twin deep doors and single lower drawer with turned wooden knobs, the doors opening to reveal thirty four bottle apertures, all but three filled with various bottles, jars and containers, most having handwritten labels, the central section with five frieze drawers, 38.5 cms high, 39.5 cms wide, 17 cms deep (veneer shrinkage to doors and an area to the side, the top with two small veneer losses)
