A Regency tooled leather covered and gilt metal mounted table cabinet, circa 1815, with lobed pagoda top above a hinged door at the front, with two concentric borders of interlocking ‘C’ scrolls, on four paw feet with scrolled sides, the interior with four drawers, the fronts simulating four vertically placed gilt tooled red leather volume spines entitled ‘THE HISTORY OF ENGLAND’, the top drawer fitted with twin glass inkwells with white metal tops, the second with a pin cushion and various compartments, the third and fourth with pink paper lining, 21cm high, 18cm wide, 14cm deep. A George III mahogany secretaire cabinet, the broken swan neck pediment, with pierced scrolling foliate and architectural decoration above dental moulding and boxwood fluted frieze, upon two cupboard doors with oval inlay within a field, enclosing three slides. The secretaire fall front revealing a fitted interior with three long graduated drawers below, raised on shaped bracket feet. 124 cm high x 115 cm wide x 60 cm deep.
