A George III mahogany bedside cabinet, with tray type top above a rectangular panelled door with oval medallion and raised on tapered legs of square section. Width 37.5 cm. The side panels are good colour and not cracked. The same applies to the back. The door is not warped and closes properly. There are some scratches around the handle which operates the retaining lever. There are also marks on the left hand leg where the brass handle retaining clip has knocked in to the upright. All drawers are present but again there are numerous scuffs and scratches particularly to the original paper labels to the drawer fronts. All handles are original. All drawers are missing their interior dividers. The sides of the piece are in reasonable order but a little scuffed. The rear panel still has its original paper advertising label but again this is quite badly scuffed and scratched and has losses to the extremities.
