A wonderful counter top shop cabinet, with a sloping glass top with a variety of Patchquick tins inside, with four drawers to the base. The arched top marked 'Patchquick Specialities', and with a label on the back 'This cabinet 1042 is on loan & is the sole property of Patchquicks, Patent, Tiverton, England. 56cms high *This cabinet was owned by Charles Underwood, who ran a Motor Cycle & Bicycle repair shop in Glastonbury in the 1930's, and has passed through the family. It comes with a letter of provenance (see images). *CR The arched top has some bits of wood missing around the top and a small section of the board missing, the back of the arch has some veneer missing and has dried and cracked over time. The sides have some old worm holes and cracks to the surface, small chip to the base and some wear around the base.
