A REGENCY MAHOGANY "SOCIAL" TABLE, with a brass inlaid border and a cellarette central section, fitted with a central circular receptacle, surrounded by four smaller receptacles, on revolving pillar mechanism, all on three down-swept reeded and acanthus carved legs with brass cap castors, 27" high x 42" dia. Provenance: The Batten Family, Church Farm, Ryme Intrinseca, Dorset. This table may be compared to a design for a "social" table published in the "Cabinet Maker's Book of Prices", second edition 1793, plate 22, as designed by George Hepplewhite.

A 19TH CENTURY EBONY AND TORTOISESHELL 'ANTWERP' STYLE CABINET ON STAND, the central door decorated in an architectural manner, with tortoiseshell mouldings and gilt metal mounts, enclosing a fitted interior with short drawers, mirrored section with ivory and ebony tile effect floor and further short drawers, enclosing further hidden drawers, all surrounded by an arrangement of short and long drawers with conforming decoration, the base with moulded and block decorated legs with a wavy stretcher, on bun feet, 66" high x 47" wide.
AN MARQUETRY CABINET ON STAND, the rectangular top decorated with scrolling and foliate inlay, the sides similarly decorated, the front modelled as an arrangement of sixteen small drawers, each with conforming marquetry fronts and mother of pearl mounted ebony handles, the stand with two further short drawers, on spiral turned and tapering legs with wavy 'X' form stretcher and bun feet, probably Goanese, late 17th century, 47" high x 33" wide. Victorian inlaid rosewood dome topped jewel cabinet with pen and ink decoration fitted with interior drawers and lift up lid, 30cm high x 32cm wide x 19cm deep Condition - Good overall. Veneer to domed top has crackling due to age. Some of the interior silk tops to the compartments are missing. One of the key escutcheons has the wood inlay missing.
