An Edwardian satinwood double dome display cabinet, the upper section fitted with adjustable shelves, the central concave glazed panel flanked by astragal glazed panel doors, glazed sides, the lower section with a convex central panel flanked by cupboards enclosed by panel doors, raised on tapered square legs united by an undertier and terminating in spade feet, width 139 cm (54 3/4 in.)
A pair of miniature porcelain cabinet tea bowls and saucers 19th century, possibly Meissen, finely painted, the saucers with farm birds in landscapes, surrounded by flowers and insects and with gilt rims, the underside of the rims with similar floral and insect decoration around three relief floral sprays, the two bowls with conforming decoration, the bases with blue crossed sword marks, the saucers 4in. (10cm.) diameter, chip and hairline to one bowl. (4)
A George III style mahogany double pedestal desk commissioned in the mid-1970s from a cabinet maker in Chard, Somerset, the moulded crossbanded top inset with an oval pale green gilt tooled leather writing surface, with panelled canted corners and serpentine central frieze drawer flanked by two short frieze drawers, the pedestals with three graduated drawers and shaped bracket feet, 51in. (130cm.) wide x 26in. (66cm.) deep.
The Henry Dewey, Maurice Weller Archaeological Collection, a mahogany cabinet containing a fine provenanced collection, ranging from Western Sahara arrow heads, Neolithic to bronze age British arrow heads, two bronze age axe heads, medieval buttons, a section of Roman tessellated floor from Camborne, Cornwall, the collection is sold with an interesting four page description, copies available on request.
A late Georgian figured, mahogany veneered side cabinet, with a pierced brass three quarter gallery, over a single drawer and a pair of doors with blind brass grills, these flanked by low relief columns with scrolling carved caps on bracket feet, width 31ins., height 44ins. (See illustration)

A Chinese rosewood display cabinet, circa 1840, the pierced dragon carved pediment over three pierced frieze arches, above an arrangement of short and quarter open shelves with pierced galleries and two short drawers to the lower right hand side and a single cabinet door to the left, above a pierced apron on short leaf carved legs, terminating in a ball and claw foot, the cabinet constructed in two sections, 115cm wide, 224cm high, 31cm deep According to the vendor his great grandfather was presented with this cabinet by the Kowloon Chinese Railway Company as a token of their appreciation of his services as Chief Surveyor in the construction, through a mountainous region of China which involved extensive and complex tunneling works. He brought it back to Britain following his return home around 1870.
