Engraved Views. The Copper Plate Magazine, or Monthly Cabinet of Picturesque Prints, Consisting of Sublime and Interesting Views in Great Britain and Ireland, Beautifully Engraved by the Most Eminent Artists from the Paintings and Drawings of the First Masters, 2 vols., [1792], one hundred eng. views inc. Belfast, Oxford and Cambridge, some worming, largely confined to lower margin, contemp. full tree calf, worn and rubbed, cracked to joints, oblong 4to (1).
Terry (Ellen, 1847-1928, actress). Autograph letter signed, to Maud Calvert, Stratford-on-Avon, 16th April 1902, congratulating Maud on her intended marrriage, and saying how busy she has been and that when she has time she will get Maud a remembrance of her, written in red ink, 2pp., integral blank, creased on folds, together with an autograph character reference signed by Terry, Cincinnati, 17th February 1896, "Maud Cecretary...", and continuing to praise Maud's abilities and character, 2pp., split into two pieces along horizontal fold (splits through the initial 'E' of her signature on verso), both 8vo, plus four albumen cabinet photographs of Terry by Window and Grove, two signed by her (incl. one presented to Maud Calvert), plus a copy of Terry's autobiography (1908), orig. cloth, sl. damp-marked at fore-edges, 8vo (7).
