Following the murder of Professor Albus Dumbledor (Michael Gambon), Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) pursued Professor Severus Snape (Alan Rickman) in anger down the astronomy tower's staircase. This lot consists of a two-page yellow call sheet packet dated May 30, 2008 of the staircase sequence autographed by Radcliffe in black ink; a two-page blue call sheet dated May 21, 2008 from a quidditch scene and Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) interacting with the vanishing cabinet; and a black-and-white photo of Radcliffe autographed in black ink. This lot exhibits slight fold creases from handing and rust stains from staples, as well as stains to the blue call sheets. Arctor wore his ring in a flashback where he bumped his head on a kitchen cabinet door before making popcorn for his wife and daughters. He later wore his watch as he drove on the freeway with James Barris (Robert Downey Jr.) and Ernie Luckman (Woody Harrelson) where their car broke down on a road trip to San Diego.This lot consists of a brown leather and metal Fossil Defender watch labeled "04 Keanu" on the backside; and a gold-color metal ring. [TOKYO TRIAL]: An extremely rare collection of twenty individually signed vintage 4 x 5 photographs by various military and civilian leaders from the Empire of Japan who were tried and convicted (some subsequently sentenced to death, and others life imprisonment) for their crimes against peace, conventional war crimes, and crimes against humanity, in the time leading up to and during World War II, by the International Military Tribunal for the Far East which convened in Tokyo on 29th April 1946. Each of the images depict the war criminals in solemn head and shoulders poses during the Tokyo Trial and all are signed three times in fountain pen inks, once with their names alone in Roman script to the images (many to darker areas of the images, and some to the lower white borders) and twice to the versos in both Roman script and Japanese characters. DUMAS ALEXANDRE Pere: (1802-1870) French Writer whose works include The Three Musketeers. A very interesting A.L.S., `Al. D´, two pages, 8vo, n.p., 26th december, [1850], to Charles-Louis Billion, in French. A boldly written letter by Dumas addressed to Billion, Director of the Theatre National in Paris, referring to his playwrights which will be performed in the next-future and to the amounts Dumas has to receive, mentionning his well-known work The Three Musketeers, and stating in part `Mille francs de prime en signant – mille francs sur l’autre ouvrage en remettant le manuscrit de celui-ci, c’est-à-dire de Clichy [Pièce La Barrière de Clichy], le 5 février au plus tard et plus tôt s´il convient à Mr. Dumas - Cinq cents francs à M. Maquet pour les ouvrages dont il sera. Ces 500 fr. sont payables à toutes les 30 représentations de chaque ouvrage…´ (Translation: "One thousand francs bonus for signing – one thousand francs for the other work by handing in the manuscript of this one, that is to say from Clichy [referring to his work "La Barrière de Clichy"], February 5th at the latest or sooner if it suits Mr. Dumas - Five hundred francs to Mr. Maquet for the works of which it will be. These 500 fr are payable for every and each of the 30 performances of each work…") Further Dumas continues with the conditions of the deal and to his rights, saying `Trois manuscrits sur quatre livrables dans l’année – Barrière Clichy, Montecristo, Napoléon en Egypte. Le quatrième sera débattu entre M. Billon et moi – Je désirerai des Croisades…´ (Translation: "Three manuscripts out of four delivered during the year – Barrière Clichy, Montecristo, Napoleon in Egypt. The fourth will be debated between Mr. Billon and me – I would like Crusades…") Before concluding Dumas includes few conditions to be added related to his mistress and actress Isabelle Constant, stating in part `Isabelle engagée.... un petit cabinet de travail pour moi, qui servira en même temps de loge pour Isabelle´ (Translation: "Isabelle hired.... a small study for me, which will also serve as a dressing room for Isabelle") Small overall age wear, mostly to very slightly timmed edges, otherwise G

GREVY JULES: (1807-1891) French politician who served as President of France 1879-87. A good vintage signed and iscribed sepia cabinet photograph, the oval albumen print depicting Grevy in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by Alphonse Liebert of Paris and bearing his imprint to the lower mount and verso. Signed by Grevy in dark fountain pen ink to a light area beneath the image and with an inscription in French to General Brugere, dated 2nd December 1887 in the President's hand. Some light mottling to the image, otherwise VGJoseph Brugere (1841-1918) French General who served in the Franco-Prussian War and World War I.Alphonse Liebert (1826-1913) French photographer, remembered for his photograph of Alexandre Dumas pere accompanied by his mistress Adah Menken which caused a minor scandal with copies being prohibited from sale.Grevy signed the present portrait on the final day of his presidency.

TCHAIKOVSKY PIOTR ILLICH: (1840-1893) Russian Composer. Rare signed and inscribed 4 x 6.5 cabinet card photograph of Tchaikovsky. The sepia image, slightly raised, as issued, depicting the Russian composer in a half-length pose. Signed and inscribed to the lower white border of the card `To Praskovia Petrovna Chernova from her old friend P.Tchaikovsky´ in bold black ink. Bearing to lower white border a blind embossed seal and to the verso the printed logo of the photographer, with the printed text "The Imperial Theatres - Marinsky Theatre Building". Two small, neat indentations to the lower left and right edges, most likely the result of previous framing, not affecting the text or signature. A.L.S., Victor Hugo, two pages, 8vo, n.p., [Paris], n.d., `Thursday, 4h in the evening´, [c.1837-1839], to Monsieur de Salvandy, on the printed stationey of the "Cabinet du Ministre - Ministère de l´instruction Publique", in French. Hugo recommends to his correspondent the architect Charles Robelin, stating in part `J´espérais rencontrer aujourd´hui Monsieur le Ministre de l´instruction publique, et j´en veux beaucoup à la Chambre qui m´a privé de ce plaisir si vif et réel pour moi. Je voulais ajouter aux noms que j´ai déjà cru devoir soumettre à Monsieur de Salvandy le nom de M. Robelin, architecte d´un mérite fort distingué et d´un talent très pratique, qui a fait d´excellents travaux dans beaucoup de cathédrales et qui serait, je crois, hautement utile au comité. Je voulais aussi redire à Monsieur Salvandy combien je suis tout à lui "ex intimo corde"´ (Translation: "I was hoping to meet the Minister of Public Education today, and I am very angry with the Chamber for depriving me of this pleasure that is so lively and real for me. BULOW HANS VON: (1830-1894) German conductor, pianist and composer of the Romantic period. A very fine vintage signed and inscribed sepia cabinet photograph, the albumen print depicting Bulow in a semi-profile head and shoulders pose. Photograph by Katharina Culie of Frankfurt and bearing her imprint to the lower mount and verso. Signed ('Hans v Bulow') by Bulow in dark fountain pen ink to a light area of the image and dated Stuttgart, 12/14th November 1884 in his hand. Bulow has also added a warm three-line inscription in German to Miss Caroline Molique to the lower photographer's mount. Some very light, extremely minor traces of former mounting to the upper edge of the verso, otherwise about EXCaroline Molique - daughter of Bernhard Molique (1802-1869) German violinist and composer.
