A Vernis Martin style Kingwood display cabinet, with ormolu mounts and painted panel, raised on cabriole legs. Height 183 cm, width 74 cm, depth 42 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally the cabinet is in good order. The painted panel to the bottom of the door has been re-painted at some point and some of the brass stringing in this area has come loose. There is some brasswork missing from the front left-hand leg towards the bottom. On the left-hand side towards the bottom there is some veneer missing to the rear which has been coloured over, there is also a small patch of loose veneer to the left towards the rear of the front leg. On the right-hand side the veneer towards the bottom starts to crack slightly and then is bubbled above the front leg, there is a similar patch to the rear in similar section.

A Victorian burr walnut credenza/side cabinet, with ormolu mounts and inset with continental porcelain panels, the central cupboard flanked by serpentine glazed doors enclosing two shelves, all raised on turned feet. 121 cm high, 121 cm wide, 45 cm deep. (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The top of the cabinet has various age-related marks, dents etc and there is also a split in the right-hand side leading in approximately 20 to 25 cm towards the centre. To the bottom left-hand side of the cabinet there is a small section of veneer which is missing although this has been stained to be in keeping with the rest. The base of the cabinet has various marks, dints etc, age-related but possibly also where a hoover as been around the base.
A French style serpentine fronted drinks cabinet, with grey marble top with brass decoration, having three panels, the front panel depicting lovers raised on downswept legs with brass decoration. Height 82.5 cm, width 89 cm, depth 45 cm. CONDITION REPORT: In good condition. We can see nothing other than some very minor age-related wear.
An Edwardian oak smoker cabinet, the glazed central doors opening to reveal an arrangement of one long and four short drawers around a central tobacco container. 41 cm high to the back, 20 cm deep, 42 cm wide, together with an assortment of late 19th and early 20th century pipes, smoking equipment and a number of Ronson lighters.
An Edwardian mahogany and marquetry inlaid music cabinet, with musical motifs. 130 cm high, 64 cm wide, 38 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: There are two marks to the top in the centre although these could more than likely be polished out. There are some very minor age-related marks but generally the cabinet is in fantastic condition. Internally the colour is superb and the door opening mechanism works as it should.
A mid 20th century mahogany and brass side cabinet, with painted door depicting musicians opening to a fitted interior. Height 112 cm, width 47.5 cm, depth 35.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top of the cabinet has some very minor marks, nothing untoward. The brasswork around the top is loose in a few places but just needs to be tacked back into place. The painted panel to the front of the cabinet has scratch marks to the cherub, the ladies face, and the gentleman and towards the lady's knee and hand. The lock escutcheon is missing and the hole has been widened where the A key has been placed inside. There is a very small piece of brasswork missing to the top left-hand corner and again piece of loose brasswork.
A William IV rosewood inverted breakfront side cabinet, with marble top and both glazed and blind panelled doors and all raised on a plinth base. Height 101.5 cm, width 138.5 cm, depth 35.5 cm. (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The marble top is a replacement but fits in very well. There are a few very minor chips to the edges of this but nothing untoward. The left-hand side of the cabinet has some fading and the piece generally has age related marks and wear but nothing untoward.
A selection of oriental design ceramics, including bottle vase, cabinet cups, Kangxi style saucers of horse design, dishes etc. (8). (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The covers to both vases have significant areas of damage at least 1 cm long with noticeable repairs. Each vase has rim chips. The smaller baluster spill vase has wear and small chips to the base together with a chip to its rim. Overall structurally sound. Neither of the two side plates ring true and have signs of restoration. Both teacups and saucers also have small losses. NOTE: on the website the photo 80.1 is the underneath character marks of the horse saucers.
A pair of Victorian walnut bowfronted pedestal cupboards, with two drawers to the top, single drawer below and cupboard opening to two drawers. Overall height 115 cm, width 43 cm, depth +/- 56 cm. CONDITION REPORT: On one cabinet the very top veneer is bubbled and there are cracks to the varnish. The entire cupboard has been waxed and is in generally very good order. There are no handles missing. On the second cupboard the cornice has been broken and glued, there are no handles missing. There are marks to both cupboards commensurate with age but nothing untoward. Generally both in very good order.
A canteen of silver plate / EPNS cutlery, mostly by Henry Wilkinson & Co of Sheffield plus some from T H & S, contained in a very impressive oak fitted cabinet. The cabinet has double opening doors to front, with brass hinges and lock (fully operational and key present) as well as brass hardware including campaign style inset handles to sides. Inside are a set of five drawers, again with campaign style inset handles and fitted blue baize interiors. Contains approximately 17 large forks, 17 smaller forks, 17 large knives, 14 small knives, 17 fish forks, 17 fish knives, fish serving knife and fork, 10 large spoons and 9 dessert spoons. Case measures approximately 52cm x 41cm x 37cm high.
