ANDREW VARAH (DESIGNER & CABINET MAKER 1944-2012), an Infinity model, No.3, circa 2005, of architectural form, the cupola in maple and pear above a removable dome given a verdigris patination, the rest of the model in burr oak, sycamore, pear, vavona burr and maple, on a square stand with removable glass shelves in solid oak, burr oak and stainless steel, with certificate, height approximately 182cm x maximum width 36.5cmcondition:The underside of the dome has two patches of paint loss on the inner rim that sits inside the edge, if you look up inside the top you can see a couple of chips of paint, on the base one of the top corners has been knocked, the top of the stand has a small indentation into the veneer.
A 17TH CENTURY OAK COFFER WITH CARVED PANELS H75CM W126CM D58CM Condition - old worm holes and worn/rotted areas to each leg, however, these are old and it’s currently not soft or crumbly, nor do the holes expel any dust when struck. Top split horizontally twice and each front corner split again, crude repair to underside of top, later carving, hinges possibly original, lock missing, various chips and losses to top, cabinet it’s self still sturdy and no play in joints, good patina.
