A BONE AND ROSEWOOD INLAID CABINET ON STAND Continental or possibly colonial probably 18th century. With hinged caddy top above a pair of cupboard doors enclosing an arrangement of ten small drawers with brass flowerhead drop handles and ebony mouldings. A removable central recess witha chequered floor and morrored back concealing three secret drawers. The stand with conforming decoration and single long drawer on four spiral twist supports and bun feet. Width 83cms Height 140cms.

A rare and unusual pair of early 19th century English cabinet plates in the Sevres manner, each attributed to T.M.Randall, Madeley, Shropshire, circa 1825, one decorated with a circular central vignette two figures in a landscape after Boucher within a gilt-heightened pink ground and border set with three vignettes of exotic birds interspersed by scrolling vignette, pseudo Sèvres marks to the reverse, the companion similarly decorated to the border on a lime yellow ground with central vignette of a young woman behind a cherub after the original by Simon again with pseudo Sèvres marks and also a mid 19th century Coalport plate "Sun-Bird" pattern number 6/676 by J.Aston (3). *With provenance*
