Royal Worcester cabinet cup and saucer with polychrome painted floral panels surrounded by pink and gilt scroll borders, by Ernest Phillips, signed, numbered C2437 with puce mark dated 1924; also Sevres blue celeste porcelain teacup and saucer made for Chateau des Tuileries, with panel of courting couple and flowers, printed Louis Philippe and palace marks. Continental ebony cabinet circa late 17th/early 18th century, with assorted doors enclosing small drawers and a mirrored section to the centre, flanked with small drawers and further small drawers above two long drawers and a pull out slide, decorated with white metal foliate panels, raised on ebonised stand. Provenance Naworth Castle, Cumberland. 180cm high, 103.5 wide and 41.5cm deep.NB.This was previously catalogued as Indo Portuguese. We now believe this may be European, possibly German.
