Five Coalport porcelain cabinet plates, 19th century, each with shaped rim, apple green ground and hand painted floral and foliate motifs to the white central panel, gilt highlights throughout, printed maker's marks and '6711/0' to base, each 22.5cm diameter, with five Minton cabinet plates, each with shaped rim, pink ground and hand painted floral sprays to the white central panel, printed maker's mark, 'T. Goode & Co' retailer's mark and painted 'H1038' to base, each 23cm diameter (10) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:All the plates show rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout. This is more extensive on the Minton plates, including one which has rubbed through in large areas. The Minton plates also show fine surface scratching to the pink ground. One of the Coalport plates shows a hairline crack approximately 10cm long.

No cracks to the glass panels, some play in the top of the rear leg joints, causing the legs to 'bow' in slightly.

A JAPANESE LACQUER KODANSU CABINET AND STAND MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY Of rectangular form, the two front doors opening to reveal many drawers and two further doors, a small curved shelf behind them; the exterior painted with a bird of prey on one door and two cranes in flight on the other; with two horizontal drawers on either side; the surface of the cabinet is decorated with brocade patterns, paper cranes, pine needles, tori kabuto hats and other geometric designs, together with the original key, 66cm x 30cm x 58cm.
