Edwardian mock Sheraton satinwood veneered display cabinet on stand, swan neck pediment above two astragal glazed doors with fabric lined interior, serpentine section base with two frieze drawers, fitted brass handles, cedar drawer linings, four tapering square section legs united by single display shelf, the whole piece inlaid with coloured woods, 99 (39") wide x 215cm (85") high.Minor repairs all over to inlay, moulding etc.Small splits and cracks to joints, moulding and about the carcass.Some bruising to the piece.Joints on the glazing bars are coming adrift slightly and a crude attempt to fill the widest one.Some repolishing.Replacemet length of inlaid moulding around the mid section which isn’t the quality of the rest of the piece.
Large Distressed Dark Wood Corner Cabinet. Possibly Georgian. Comprising two curved, panelled front doors, four internal shelves. Approx dimensions 48 inches in height, 26 inches in width, 21 inches depth. Some considerable damage and wear to cornice, door panels etc. A good restoration project.
