A very fine George IV period mahogany and rosewood brass-inlaid four door Cabinet the doors by George Bullock, English, circa 1825 and later 19th century 128cm high, 240cm wide, 48cm deep Provenance The four door panels were remodelled in the “Deepdene” residence of Thomas Hope taken from internal doors, which were part of the remodelling of the Deepdene by the German-Italian architect Alexander Roos in 1836-41 for Thomas Hope’s son Henry Hope.
